Sucsk? C'mon ... Did you look at Chaplin way of looking that girl? It is awesome! Without even saying a word, he is saying SO MUCH! The gilr did like almost anyone else, she judge him by the way he looks, instead of his character. He saved her life, and now she was just judging him because he looked so crappy, basically because of her "fault". He went to jail for "stealing" $1000 to save her life ...
It's not the best Chaplin movie, but I still liked it a lot.

That's what I was telling!
The girl judged him by his look at the end of the movie. She even laughed at him. He made her life better than what she would get from being a blind girl. Now she can see and her sight made her become a different person. The world would have have better character if everyone was blind. Then people would be more careful, loving, and not those evil things. Chaplin loved her who she was and still loves her of who she is, but she loved him who he was when she was blind and changed to a different girl when she could see. It's sad. chaplin sent out the message that "People should not judge others by their look because the look has noting to do with the character of a person."
